It's Fall in New England. There is a lull in the personality of the people around me. It's as if the community is saying, hope you have your baskets of nuts gathered and berries preserved, because winter will be here before you know it.
People are grieving the loss of Summer and the joy it rained down on us.

But wait! Winter has cozy gatherings of friends and family as we gift each other with things we've created either with pen, brush or oven.

We reflect on our successes, our dreams, our sorrows and attribute them all to our growth.

I climb out of my hole and celebrate my life today, and when I need a second wind, help me dance or laugh or sing so that I am not overcome by the gray. And remember, I am here for you too, with my eraser in hand, and bag of rainbow sharpies to color your world. We'll both get through this together!
